Botox

BOTOX Cosmetic is a product from Allergan that has been used in the USA therapeutically for more than 17 years to treat a variety of medical conditions. It is approved in more than 75 countries and remains the most-studied botulinum toxin and one of the most widely researched medicines in the world. In 2002, the same formulation – under the label BOTOX Cosmetic – was approved by the US FDA for treatment of moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people ages 18 to 65.
BOTOX can correct a number of signs of aging on the face and neck, including lipstick lines around the lips, horizontal forehead wrinkles, vertical frown lines, crow’s feet around the eyes, vertical neck bands, chin wrinkles, and bunny lines on the nose. It can also reduce fullness in the jaw and jawline by relaxing the masseter muscles.
Along with these cosmetic uses, BOTOX is often utilized in treatment of migraine headaches and hyperhidrosis (excess sweating in the armpits and other regions).
Botox injectables are used to decrease the appearance of facial wrinkles. They are also used for hyperhidrosis, depression, and chronic headaches.

RADIESSE® and RADIESSE® (+)

RADIESSE® and RADIESSE® (+) are Dermal fillers that are used for smoothing moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth). RADIESSE® is also used for correcting volume loss in the back of the hands.

BELOTERO BALANCE®

BELOTERO BALANCE® may help provide an elegant finishing touch to your skin treatment regimen, noticeably improving the appearance of moderate-to-severe etched-in lines and wrinkles around your mouth. While common skin treatment options such as chemical peels and laser treatments may also be beneficial, BELOTERO BALANCE injectable gel integrates directly into the skin, helping to enhance the appearance of stubborn etched-in lines and wrinkles with minimal downtime.1,2

Dermal Fillers

Belotero is a hyaluronic acid that differ in how the molecules are cross linked. This affects their individual properties and how the dermal filler will behave within the skin.

Belotero is thinner and more lightweight compared to other HA fillers. It is created using a unique proprietary technology called Cohesive Polydensified Matrix. This requires the use of a process that gives the final injection solution a very high degree of elasticity. So once it is injected, it distributes much more evenly and seamlessly between treated and untreated areas. Other hyaluronic acid fillers can raise the dermal layer and clump under the skin.

Additionally, Belotero can be injected more superficially (i.e. closer to the skin’s surface) compared to other HA fillers. Deeper injections of other forms of hyaluronic acid require a higher quantity of product and entail some risk of bumps and lines appearing on the skin.
Prior to the availability of Belotero, superficial injections of hyaluronic acid fillers would result in a bluish hue on the skin. This is called the Tyndall effect, a phenomenon that occurs when light passes through a clear substance.
Prior to the availability of Belotero, superficial injections of hyaluronic acid fillers would result in a bluish hue on the skin. This is called the Tyndall effect, a phenomenon that occurs when light passes through a clear substance.

Because Belotero does not elicit the Tyndall effect, (bluish tint in areas injected) it can be used for under eye depressions and wrinkles.

Also prior to the advent of Belotero, cosmetic solutions for horizontal neck creases were very limited. However, Belotero can be injected to provide substantial improvement for this issue, depending on how deep the creases are.

Dermal fillers are used for smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles, and adding volume and fullness to areas that may need to be enhanced.
